Thermon Expands Line of VSX Heat Tracing Solutions

Thermon developed the world’s first monolithic, coextruded self-regulating heat trace when we introduced VSX in 1997. VSX-HT takes it a step farther by introducing a monolithic self-regulating heat trace with a maintenance temperature of 392°F (200°C) with an intermittent exposure temperature (power on or off) of 482°F (250°C). With this update, the new red outer jacket provides higher contrast, making the product ratings printed on the cable easier to read.

VSX-HT has the highest temperature ratings in the industry and is suitable for use in applications requiring maintenance temperatures up to 392°F (200°C) and/or high temperature exposures up to 482°F (250°C). Available with four power output options (5, 10, 15, and 20 W/ft, 16, 33, 49, and 66 W/m) and rated for both 100-120 Vac and 200 - 277 Vac, VSX-HT provides optimal design flexibility and capability.
