Thermon Passes Annual Certificae of Recogntion (COR) Audit

Thermon Canada Inc., Thermon Canada Services Inc., and the Thermon Power Solutions groups in Calgary, Edmonton, and Fort McMurray had their annual Certificate of Recognition (COR) Audit between June 13th and June 18th and passed with an impressive score of 96%. What makes this even more impressive is that the audit protocol had been expanded for this year, asking more questions and looking deeper into our Health and Safety Program than ever before. Thermon’s hazard controls, hazard management, the 52-Week Safety Program, and the amount of health and safety knowledge our employees demonstrated during the audit interview process impressed the auditor.

The COR Program is an external certification and a tool for companies to create effective Health and Safety Programs, promote injury prevention, lower their Workers Compensation Board (WCB) premiums, and receive additional rebates for exemplary safety performance. By maintaining our COR Certification and receiving additional rebates for our safety performance, Thermon demonstrates that it is providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. Our Health and Safety Program is effective in meeting all the legislative requirements and standards set forth by the Province and has created a proactive safety program and culture where injury prevention is the focus.
